
Daisy Harcourt’s work centers on portraiture, exploring how identity is shaped by nature, language, place, and lived experience. Through drawing and painting, she combines observation with a research-based approach to image and text, producing work that examines individual lives, histories, and personal stories.

Dr Laura Varnam is the Lecturer in Old and Middle English Literature at University College, Oxford. As an academic writer, she is the author of The Church as Sacred Space in Middle English Literature and Culture (2018) and the co-editor of Encountering The Book of Margery Kempe (2021). She is also a published poet, working on a collection inspired by the women of the Old English epicBeowulf, and she is an expert in the life and works of Daphne du Maurier.
